Professional life/Career Synopsis of Rahul Chahar


In November 2016 at the age of 16, he participated in first-class contests for the first time. He amassed a total of 1/24 in 9 overs, including 3 maidens. He produced 199 runs in 33 overs of bowling in the second session. He made his List A debut against Madhya Pradesh on February 25, 2017. He developed his spinning abilities and had a 4.78 economy rate while taking nine wickets in List A games. In Under-19 cricket, he also pitched against England. In 4 Youth ODIs, he had a 15.2 average and 10 wickets. The Rising Pune Super Giants purchased him in 2017.In this season, he only made an appearance in 3 matches. While he was playing for the Mumbai Indians in the year 2019, he significantly improved his playing technique. He had earlier been disqualified from the U19 World Cup. But that same year, Mumbai Indians paid 1.8 lakhs to purchase him. He appeared in 13 games and claimed 13 wickets during this season. After that, he only delivered in one T20I game, giving up 27 runs and a maiden in three overs against the West Indies.
